Describe your issue:
In Cortex Cloud, when I mark a preset as public, I expect it to be public. It only turns public if you explicitly click ‘edit’ and then mark as public from within.

Steps to reproduce your issue:

  1. Navigate to a preset you have uploaded to your cortex cloud account
  2. On the overview page, click the 3 dots and set to mark as public

  4. The preset visibility does not change to public

I expected this to happen:
When I click the 3 dots and click set to public, I expect the preset to immediately change visibility to public.

I have tried the following things:

  • I have tried clicking edit and THEN toggling to public, this does work.

I just saved some presets yesterday and it was working as expected then but I tried it again today and I can’t replicate that issue using both Firefox and or Chrome.

If I select the three dots and choose to set to private or public, it updates and shows the correct setting. Also verified the same behavior using the app. Not sure if it’s a browser related issue or what. Have you tried another browser, clear cashe, reload the browser etc?

Note: I tested on both presets and captures which both worked as expected.

Maybe it is isolated to Safari?

I am using Safari Version 26.5.2 (21624.2.5.11.8)

The iOS app works as expected. The 3 dots > Set to Public does not work in Safari.

It could be a Safari issue. Let’s see if anyone else can replicate the issue on MAC and I can forward directly to support if its a new bug.
