How about we repurpose the functionality of the PRESET UP and DOWN Switches?
-for some of us that don’t change between Presets, I think this idea would help make the QC easier to use, for example, what if we could change the PRESET DOWN switch to a Change Modes Switch? basically replacing having to tap two foot switches at the same time to one foot switch, eliminating accidental preset changes, and making more efficient changing effects.
-Or for example when you are using the hybrid mode, what if you had 2 pages and you could cycle between them with the PRESET DOWN switch? this would give the hybrid mode the same utility as the Standard mode! Let’s say that what you had in your top row in both the scenes and stomp mode got mixed stayed in page 1, and what you had on the bottom row, stayed in page 2!
-What if we could tap the PRESET UP Switch to activate the tuner or maybe another setting?
This would be perfect for the some of us that never use these switches, this way we can give utility to all of the switches available on the QC
In my opinion If this idea I just told you, and having the tap tempo screen no longer show up when your setting your tempo, as well as having foot switches on stomp mode change specific parameters of your existing pedals, expanding the programing possibilities. All of this would improve the flexibility that you already have on the QC, and making the perfect modeler for me!
