# Capture normalization to set peak

Would be great to normalize the volume of captures downloaded so they peak at a defined dB. Hard to know what the other user was thinking when they captured something very low in volume…

yes was just about to post this, auto normalization for captures uploaded to the cloud, or normalization on download. the volume discrepancies are brutal

This would be very useful. Should take into account perceived loudness, not just RMS values.
