# Cab Block Error / Losing Stock IRs

A while back, I was loading impulse responses using a cab block instead of the IR loader - I decided to save the default settings on a cab with 3rd party IRs being used instead of the stock IRs.
DO NOT DO THIS. SERIOUSLY. DON’T.
I no longer have access to the stock IRs - the menu only shows the 3rd party IR that was loaded when I set the settings as default and no longer gives me the option to select different microphones. This is the case on the unit and in the editor.
Luckily, I had only done this with stock cabs I wasn’t vibing with and I can still use the stereo cab blocks if I really want those sounds, but it still kinda sucks.
I should have said something when this happened a few months back but I because I wasn’t all that bothered by it and I figured it would be fixed in the next update. Lo and behold, the error that I didn’t report was not addressed, probably because the folks at NDSP didn’t know about it.

I’m not sure if a factory reset will restore that or not but I would email support and see if they have any options.
