I was trapped at work for a hackathon, so I missed the big release… were there any features specifically for violinists?
Did I get the LFO to control about any parameter in any fx block?
Did I get the button that makes me sound like the London Philharmonic orchestra?

No to all of these. It’s still an enormous update, though.
The muktinvoicwe and arpeggjo might make you soind like the London robot philharmonic.
I play an electric cello (in addition to bass guitar), and I got a recommendation to try the Petrucci plugin, that you can now use on the QC. I installed the trial version (which only works with a computer, mind you), and it was an almost instant purchase for me. The piezo amp, with the acoustic body simulation, is just great. I’m extremely happy with this right now! (I got the plugin yesterday, though, so perhaps the excitement wears off a little with time, haha 
)
