This is my first forum topic. My Quad Cortex Mini is being shipped shortly and I have a questing about powering the unit with a powerbank.
I have read a few topics about a battery powered (full) Quad Cortex, but because the Mini has different power requirements… still your feedback would be appreciated.
My idea is to power the Quad Cortex Mini with a small powerbank.

I need a lot of adapters to make this work. Unfortunately, The MyVolts, center negative adapter is not available in my country (The Netherlands), or with high shipping costs.
Does this plan work?
Is it possible with less adapters, or an easier way to power this (with powerbank)?
It’s totally SAD… that you need all of this to power the device via a battery.
WHY? How narrow minded could the engineers be who designed this be? Especially the Mini. It’s like you have ‘the most powerful floor modeler on the planet’… but it takes a PhD, 4+ cables, an Electrical Engineer, and fingers crossed that you don’t blow up anything to power it via a battery.
I would love to do the same thing, get a Mini and use it for house concerts, busking, traveling, and the like… but yeah, just the thought of pushing electricity into it via a cobbled together set of cables makes me VERY nervous.
There are some other threads on this as well. I am sure you have read them, but to be honest, it’s not overly clear (or simple).
Some…QC or Mini users are definitely powering them via batters (of various sizes or types) but yeah, the cable setup is not clear. Since different users who are doing this, use different sets of cables - or do it different ways; it just gets more confusing. To me anyway.
