# Battery pack for nano cortex

Hello I was wondering if anyone can show me what battery bank that will work to power the nano rather then plugging into computer or outlet it’s just an idea I have and I tried 2 of the battery backups I have that I use for my phone and they don’t seem to work but it does state that it should work

Just make sure that the power bank USB output supplies 5V at 1.5A (amps). The amps is important and a lot of USB-A - the older connections - don’t supply this. Most USB-C connections do, but always check the output specs. Usually it’s written next to the port.
